About us
We do not have a shop. What we do have is a house in Oldenzaal that is always a little too full with what we find at flea markets, in charity shops and in attics that have to be cleared.
This is roughly how it works with us.
- We take something home
- Clean it
- Work out what it is
- Photograph it
- And then it goes into the shop, for you to buy
Want to see something in real life?
Most questions are settled with an email. An extra photo, a measurement taken, checking whether that cabinet really fits through your doorway: we are happy to do it, and we would rather do it beforehand than afterwards.
And if you want to see a piece with your own eyes, we will make an appointment, either here in Oldenzaal or over a video call. Let us know which item it is and we will have it ready. Browsing through the rest is not possible, because we do not have a shop floor.

Some pieces are listed in more than one place at the same time. You will see that on the product itself.
What you may expect from us
Our things are old. That means scratches, discolouration and sometimes a missing part. We have no problem with that, as long as you know beforehand.
So with every item we write down what we have seen. If it says “decorative object”, we have not tested whether it works. And if we are not certain what year something is from, we write “circa” rather than pretend.
What we promise is not that everything is perfect. What we promise is that you get what you see in the photo, and that you may send it back within 14 days if it disappoints after all. How that works is in our returns policy.
